Menara CC fought back well to beat Rawamangun CC in the final encounter of the weekend. RCC were in big trouble at 32 for 5 after Sajid Ali & Iruthayaraj ran amok early on. But amidst the destruction that lay around him, Riski Sanjaya stood tall, anchoring an amazing fightback with the help of Agi Saptiazi & Juni Ariyadi as his 71 not out took RCC to a strong total of 179.
The Menara batting then decided to emulate the RCC early batting collapse as Juni Ariyadi & Agi Saptiazi combined well to have Menara tottering at 61 for 6. Faheem Butt played aggressively to take Menara to 109, but two more wickets fell and at 113 for 8, things were looking very grim indeed for Menara. When all looked lost, Mutahir Akram & Sajid Ali decided to counter-attack. They flayed 67 runs of just 6 overs against a dumb-struck RCC attack to script what looked like an unlikely win for Menara.
