Fez Rebels got off to a brisk start after electing to bat first. The introduction of Cecil with some classical leg spin, then triggered a batting collapse. Warwick Peters played well and his 53 gave Fez Rebels something to defend.

Fez Rebels then took a couple of early wickets, but Amrit had other ideas. He along with captain Prem then thrashed the Fez Rebels bowling and got Senayan Lions home in just 14.4 overs
