Meanwhile, GMIS’ Naresh Gupta and Pratyush Chaturvedi ensured no calculators were needed as they decimated TKCC by 6 wickets in their encounter on Saturday. Batting first, TKCC piled up 255/7 in 35 overs. Rakesh Gowda top scored with an unbeaten 93 while Hitesh Malhotra and Rakshan Rai helped themselves to half centuries. Pratyush took 3/24. GMIS started with the calmness that appears before the storm as they reached 35/1 after 12 overs. Nothing prepared TKCC for the onslaught that followed thereafter as Naresh Gupta bludgeoned 80 runs off just 27 balls, and in the company of Pratyush Chaturvedi ( 70 not-out off 35 balls ) finished the game in the 32nd over. Such was the speed of this partnership that before TKCC could blink an eye, it was game, set and match GMIS.

Thanks to Venkatesh & Kannan from Metro Indians for umpiring the game.
