WISCI Wanderers took on Challengers CC and would have had revenge on their minds for the loss in last season’s Champions Cup. Skipper William Noronha was in a dangerous mood as he played the destroyer’s role while Rajeev Rajeswaran played anchor in a huge 70 runs stand for the 2nd wicket. Bob Plath & Sasitharan kept the momentum going as WISCI plundered a total of 180 runs. Deepak Singh bowled brilliantly giving away just 8 runs in 4 overs and with support from Dave Holme & Govind Sodani, ensured that Challengers CC were never in the hunt. Satinder Minhas was the lone bright star in the Challengers CC batting performance as they could only manage 109 runs in their chase.
