Rebels CC’s batting woes continued as they couldn’t chase down the 117 runs target set by Indorama CC. Muhammad Alfhariz continued his excellent bowling form as he once again accounted for top order wickets and with Indorama at 42 for 5, Rebels CC would have been looking at a low target to chase. However, Abhishek Sharma & Ashish Khaitan batted very well and their 70 runs stand meant that Indorama could put up a decent target.
It was the turn of the JCA veterans R. Srikkanth & Vishwajit Tripathi to shine as their wily bowling kept the runs in check and in the process of trying to accelerate, Rebels kept losing wickets. In the end, Rebels fell short by 17 runs.
