The see-saw battle for top of Division honors got even more intense as Yadavas Senayan CC reclaimed top spot with a big win over PHM Jaguar CC this weekend.
Electing to bat first with the intent of enhancing their Net Run rate, Yadavas Senayan kept their foot on the runs pedal right from the start. All their top batsmen came to the party with big & quick scores, anchored by a superb 124 not out by Viraj Bhammar. Gamantika partnered with Viraj for a brilliant 155 run partnership that created the foundation for Manbhir Singh & Ahmad Ramdoni to explode from and take Senayan CC to a season highest score of 309 runs. Bilal Qureshi’s started well for Jaguar CC, but a brilliant spell by Manbhir Singh snuffed out even a remote chance of a win as Jaguar CC folded for 174 runs.
