Metro Indians took on TKCC Royals in the first of two T20 games of the week at Cibubur and their strong top order once again did a fine job as Kirubasankar with yet another Fifty, anchored partnerships with Sakthi & Dhanasekaran. However, once Swaroop Chavan got rid of the dangerous Kiruba, the others couldn’t accelerate well enough and Metro Indians could only manage 136 in their 20 overs.

Ramesh got TKCC off to a flying start with 30 off just 17 balls but Kirubasankar accounted for his wicket. Despite the loss of two other quick wickets, Tripathi & Jimmy Bumb counter-attacked well and when rain forced an early result, TKCC were ahead of the Duckworth Lewis par score by 14 runs giving them a hard-fought win.
