Tight bowling by Waqar Ali and some suicidal running by Mavecrics batsmen helped GMIS CC steal a 1 run win in one of the tightest finishes this season

GMIS CC stole a victory in one of the tightest finishes this season when they beat Mavecrics CC by 1 run. Mavecrics CC did well to bowl out GMIS CC for just 109 runs on the back of some good bowling by Nimesh Shah, Pradeep Patnaik & Samir Sharma. Naresh Gupta & Ajeet Bhatt were the main contributors with the bat for GMIS CC. Despite a great spell by Waqar Ali, Mavecrics CC looked well on course for an easy win, when they needed 15 runs with 5 wickets to spare. Some tight fielding and some manic running led to 4 run outs ensuing and Mavecrics were bowled out for 108, falling 1 run short.
