In Saturday’s plate semifinals games, WISCI Wanderers started in blistering fashion through William Noronha & Rajeev. Daehan Super Kings (DSK) pulled things back with a few quick wickets through Sakthi Narayanan. Kirubasankar & Suhail Modak then put on a important 63 runs stand to take WISCI to 145 in their 20 overs. In reply, DSK were rocked early by a superb Deepak Singh spell and Raunak Kapoor then accounted for the middle order early. Satinder Minhas tried to build a rearguard fightback, but didn’t get enough support from the other end as DSK were bowled out for 92, falling 53 runs short.
