Jakarta Barbarians took on Challengers CC in a 35 over encounter which was shortened to 28 overs due to wet ground conditions. The Barbarians batting was in fine form as Riaz Hyder played a superb hand with able support from Eki Antaria. Vivek Nair hit a few lusty blows at the end as the Barbarians piled on a huge 197 in 28 overs. Vimal Nair bowled very well, but didn’t get much support from the other end.
Sunil Samtani & Vimal Nair batted well to set up a platform for the Challengers middle order to leverage, but Eki Antaria struck crucial blows to ensure the middle order couldn’t capitalize as Challengers were bowled out for 156, falling short by 41 runs.
