In another game that was played on Saturday at Cibubur in division 2, the Jaguars strengthened their position at the top of the table, when they defeated Chairos Tigers by 5 wickets.
Winning the toss and batting first, the Tigers squandered away the advantage when they lost quick wickets in the first 12 overs to be precariously placed at 50/6. Jagdeep Singh, opening the bowling, drew first blood when he took 2 wickets within his first two overs. Sridhar Sasikumar then kept a stranglehold on things when he scalped 2 more wickets in his second over. Amit Lalaji, continued his form with the ball, also chipping in with 2 wickets.

Man-of-the-Match Rehan then cleaned up the tail when he demolished the Tiger’s remaining batsmen, taking 3 wickets for just 12 runs in his 7 overs that included two maidens.

For Charios Tigers CC, Sachin Gopalan (26 runs) & Yeri Rosogna (22 runs) were the lone contributors with the bat, as they were all out for 96 runs in the 28th over.

In response, Jaguars CC were off to a good start in typical fashion through Vijay Kumar (24 runs) and Dhimanshu Raghuwanshi (34 runs). Despite a flurry of wickets going down, 96 runs was never going to be easy to defend, as despite their spirited fight back, the Jaguars reached the target in the 19th over, losing 5 wickets. For Chairos Tigers, Gema Fajar once again shone with the ball taking 2 wickets.
