Challengers CC continued their winning run with a comprehensive & big win over Ceylon CC in the other 35 overs, Division 2 game played at Purwakarta. Jaganathan Krishnan (2/20) accounted for the 2 star Ceylon batsmen Gaurav & Dihan cheaply to have them in trouble. Mufasil PM (31) tried to keep one end up while Ceylon CC kept losing batsmen at the other end and were in trouble at 70/7, with the damage being done by Santhosh Kumar (3/19) & Manicavasgan (2/24). Faheem Muhammad (26) & Sajith (17) put up some resistance to take Ceylon CC to a below par 135 all out, after Vimal Nair (2/9) cleaned up the tail. The tactical move to promote Ranjan Shankar (71no) as an opener, worked wonders for Challengers CC as he blazed away with support from Sidhu (26) & Satinder Minhas (20) to take Challengers CC across the line in just 19.3 overs.
