After that dramatic upset of the defending champions, the 2nd game of the day had also promised to be an intense one with the pool toppers, Victorious Secret (VS) taking on Senayan CC who also had several Indonesian young players. VS won the toss and elected to bat. They put up an above par total of 153/7 on the board due to some sensible batting by Kirubasankar (38) and some lofty hitting by William Noronha (31). Laxmi Nagesh (3/32) & Mehdi (2wkts) were the wicket takers for Senayan CC. In reply, Senayan started cautiously & were still in the hunt at 64/0 after 10 overs, though a required run rate of 9 plus did look daunting. Their job was made impossible due to an extraordinary bowling by Rajeev Rajeswaran (4/15) & good support by Viplow Singh (2/20). Some late hitting by Hussein (40) & Muhaddis (24) was good to watch but never going to be enough as Senayan finished on 133/6 in 20 overs to lose by 20 runs.
