TKCC in response were cautious in their response as they reached 56/1 at the first drinks break of 12 overs. A brief stoppage of play due to rains in the 14th over did not deter TKCC as they began to consolidate in the second session, and were well on course when they reached 145/1 after 24 overs, with Kshitij batting on 70 runs and Maneesh Tripathi on a well made 51 runs. A strong come-back by the WPP bowlers in the final session saw them dismiss both set batsmen immediately after resumption of play which ensured that TKCC could only manage 205/8 in its full quota of 35 overs.
Bhuvan Manjunathan (2/35) lead the bowling, ably supported by Rahul Pagad (1/28) and Dhiraj Nagpal (1/38), while for TKCC Kshitij remained the top scorer with 70 runs followed by Maneesh (58 runs)
