In a weekend of low scores, Praveen Uppal extended his huge lead at the top of the bowlers leaderboard by spinning a web around the Rebels CC batsmen to claim yet another fiver.

Jaguar CC didn’t get off to a good start as Mohammed Alfhariz’s late-swing helped him scalp 4 wickets as the Jaguar CC top order was back in the hut in quick time. Marten Eddy & Gaurav Tandon also kept chipping away at the wickets, but a late order burst from A Sharma helped Jaguar CC reach 96 for 9 in their 20 overs.

The Rebels openers started well and at the half-way stage, things were looking comfortable for them. The introduction of Praveen Uppal set the cat among the pigeons with some fine spin bowling as the Rebels batsmen, unsure of whether to defend or attack, panicked. The last 8 wickets fell for just 18 runs with Waqar Ali as well hitting the stumps a few times and Rebels were bowled out for just 58 runs.
