Indorama CC’s opening bowlers Abhishek Sharma & PC Sethi bowled very well to have half the Mavecrics side back in the pavilion for just 53 runs after Mavecrics had chosen to bat first. The experienced duo of Pradeep Patnaik & Keyur Moradia then got together in a 50 run partnership and good support from the lower order batsmen helped Mavecrics finish at a competitive 153 runs in their 35 overs.
Though the Mavecrics bowlers, kept things tight initially, they weren’t penetrative enough to make inroads. A fabulous 105 runs partnership between Kaushik Vishwanath & Nitin Joshi then sealed the game for Indorama with 7 wickets & 9 overs in hand. Nitin was in fine form as his run-a-ball 64 served as the fulcrum of the partnership.
