Sanjeev Modi (32) ensured that the Mavecrics got off to a good start after Mavecrics were put in to bat by Fez Rebels. Marten Eddy (2/20) & Christian Hirst (3/26) helped the Rebels fight back, but the in-form Neetesh Pansare (55no) & skipper Keyur Moradia (29) put on a good partnership to help Mavecrics recover. Neetesh ended off in style with some creative stroke-play including a fabulous Dil-scoop to take Mavecrics to a strong 178/8. Nimesh Shah (3/15) bowled brilliantly to have Rebels in early trouble. The experienced Cameron Knox (39) & the young Irwan Siregar (34) partnered well to bring the Rebels right back into contention. A familiar middle-order collapse ensued triggered by Pradeep Patnaik (4/28) to have Rebels fall short by 19 runs.
