Menara CC prevailed over the debutant, Rawamangun Cricket Club (RCC) in the third game of the weekend, a low-scoring, Division 2, T20 match. The Rawamangun side, playing their first ever season in the JCA League, is comprised entirely of budding Indonesian talent including some players from the Indonesian women’s national team. The young RCC side bowled well, led by Juni Ariyadi, Muhamad Aziz & Alie Murtado and kept taking wickets at regular intervals. It needed a mature hand from Deepak Khullar, to ensure Menara CC had something to bowl at as they were bowled out for 119 runs in the 20th over.

A brilliant opening spell by Faheem Butt rocked RCC early as they were 27 for 4 wickets in no time. Muhamad Aziz with some help from Eggi, tried to stage a recovery, but Amit Bhat & Muzaffar Ali struck back with wickets and RCC were bowled out for just 90 runs, giving Menara CC a 29 run win to get their season going.
