Tied on the same number of points along with the Fez Rebels and ChallengersCC, Metro just about made it to the runner-up position by virtue of a better net run rate, even as Fez Rebels made a valiant attempt in the last league game on Sunday to better it.

In the face off against IndoramaCC, the Rebels had to chase down the target of 169 ( Kaushik 61 runs, Dan Thomas 3/38, Marten Eddy 2/28 ) set by the opposition in 17.2 overs to be able to move to the second position. Despite losing its openers early, the Rebels were relentless through the effort of Cameron Knox (41 runs) and Marten Eddy (57 runs). However impressive bowling by Sandeep Kukkar (4/30) kept a lid on the run chase as the Rebels missed the target of winning within 17.2 overs. Eventually they trotted to overhaul the target in 20.3 overs and with it finishing agonizingly close, behind Metro Indians at number 3.
