In the first of the two T20 games on Sunday, Jakarta Barbarians took on Emerio CC, whose struggles with the bat this season continued. The Barbarians opening bowlers kept things tight and had the Emerio CC struggling to force the pace. When they tried to go after the spin of Lindsay Wood, wickets fell in a heap and they lost 6 wickets for just 10 runs, in the process handing Wood yet another 5 wicket haul. Maneesh Dubey unbeaten 31 gave Emerio CC something to bowl at, but a target of 75 was never going to be challenging enough. In reply, Gema Fajar anchored the innings to ensure the Barbarians a 7 wicket victory with 5 overs in hand.
