After being put in to bat, Senayan CC kept the scoreboard ticking, but in the process ended up losing way too many wickets and were staring down the barrel at 86 for 7 after 15 overs. A fine rear-guard fightback by the Kapadia brothers, however ensured that Senayan reached 142, a competitive total. Sakthi Narayanan, Kirubasankar & Aditya Khurana took 2 wickets apiece for Metro Indians.

The Metro Indians top order has been in good form this season and that form continued as all the top order batsmen contributed as the prolific, Kirubasankar hit yet another unbeaten 50 to give his side a comfortable 8 wicket win.
