The last game of the weekend ended up being a Ben Burgess show as Jakarta Barbarians beat Challengers CC by 10 wickets in a rain-shortened game. Sunil Samtani & Ranjan Shankar got the Challengers CC off to a very good start as they reached 60 in the 8th over. Ben Burgess then decided to bring himself on in to the attack and bowled fabulously to claim 5 wickets in a 4 over spell, which restricted Challengers to 147 in their 20 overs.
As the skies rumbled & rain didn’t seem far away, Ben Burgess & Riaz Hyder went hammer & thongs at the bowling, rustling up 87 runs in 10 overs, when rain poured down. They won comfortably as the Duckworth Lewis par score was 63.
