The other 35 overs encounter of the week saw Ceylon CC take on Rawamangun CC at the Karawaci ground. Dihan Silva got Ceylon off to a breezy start and their middle order then all made good contributions. Hashmatullah then, made a quick-fire 34, but the Rawamangun CC bowling then struck in the final overs to restrict Ceylon to a good 205 runs in their 35 overs. The wickets were shared across the RCC bowlers.

In reply,  although the RCC batsmen, especially Rohan Shirodkar, Repan Desnika & Agi Saptiazi batted solidly, they could not however, force the pace and were left with too much to chase as they needed 90 in the last 10 overs. Dandi Atmadja hit a few big hits towards the end but it was to be in vain as RCC fell short by 30 runs. Rajeev Kumar was Ceylon’s best bowler once again with good support from the others.
