Fresh from New Delhi, Samarth Singh displayed his mettle in his JCA debut by mauling the Yadavas Chairos Tigers’ bowling attack. His team had started off poorly and were in deep trouble at 84 for 6 after Indonesian national team players, Ridho Aulia & Budiarta had made early inroads. Samarth then, took it upon himself to resurrect the innings in a display that would surely have given the young Indonesian tigers a lot to learn from. He needed just 89 balls, as 28 of them had been dispatched to or over the fence, to hit an unbeaten 179. Biji Mathew supported him at the other end in a 150 run partnership as Emerio CC finished on 326 in their 35 overs. A shell-shocked Tigers, couldn’t show much fight and collapsed for just 87 runs. Emerio CC had virtually everyone in their bowl as 7 bowlers took wickets. Aditya Haryanto was the only batsman to show some fight for the Tigers.
