Daehan Super Kings were off to a comfortable start through a good knock by Yashpal Singh. Ashit Mehta then accounted for the openers and Gaurav Pathak sparked a mini-collapse. Some good rearguard batting by Satinder Minhas with help from Vimal Mohan ensured Daehan Super Kings got to a fighting total of 142.

Vimal Nair on his return from injury continued his good bowling form to keep one end tight, but he didn’t get much support from the other end as they leaked runs to the aggressive WPP pair of Dwarkanath Naidu & Rahul Pagad. As the threat of rain loomed large, WPP made sure they stayed above the Duckworth Lewis par scores and when rain did stop play in the 14th over, WPP India XI were ahead of the DL ask and won the game with 7 wickets in hand.
