WPP India XI were put in to bat by PHM Jaguar CC in the last game of the day. Dwaraknath Naidu (32) took a liking to Sasikumar and helped provide WPP India XI a good start. Sasi fought back with the wickets of the openers and the speed of Jagdeep Singh (2/18) coupled with the slow, guile of Amit Lala (3/19) ensured that WPP India XI ended up on a below-par 124/9 in their 20 overs. The experienced & wily Dhiraj Nagpal (3/18) struck early to get rid of the openers. Amit (19) & Vijay (29) consolidated for the Jaguars, but Deepak Sarika (2/24) & Pankaj Jain (2/18) broke through & Dhiraj came back to close it out in the 19th over to take his team to a 14 run win. “Jaguars are a very strong side & our bowlers needed to come good to defend a difficult total.
