The last game on Sunday between Jaguar CC & Mavecrics CC had to be reduced to an 18 overs affair due to rain. After electing to bat first, the Jaguars innings started off briskly with Amit Lala & Harry Sidhu hitting boundaries at will. Pradeep Patnaik struck back for Mavecrics with 3 wickets, but some late order hitting by Jagdeep Singh ensured that Jaguars had plenty of runs to defend. Chasing 148 for a win, Mavecrics started well through Milind Shirodkar & Sanjeev Modi, but the introduction of the debutante, Nadeem Shahzad set the cat among the pigeons as his 4 wicket haul, derailed the chase. Mitesh Dingra hit a few big sixes, but he had too much to do in the end as Mavecrics could manage only 98 in 18 overs.
