In the first game on Saturday, after being put in to bat, thanks to the batting of Eki Antaria (32) & Yeri Rosongna (24) the Indonesian developmental side- DKI Tigers looked in control at the half-way stage with the score reading 60/2. However, the defending champions, TKCC Royals fought back well through Sakthi 4/13 & Justin 2/8 to restrict the Tigers to what looked like a below-par score of 99 all-out in 20 0vers. In reply, TKCC Royals looked well on course when Neeraj 27* had taken them to 47/2 after 10 overs. However, the Tigers fought back really well in the second half to choke & restrict TKCC Royals to just 96/9 at the end of 20 overs, thus pulling off their 2nd upset win of the tournament. Especially commendable considering most of the Tigers players were fasting.
