The division 1 game between EmerioCC and TKCC, on Sunday saw a one sided affair with Emerio turning up victors by a massive 117 runs. You couldn’t have asked for a better result while losing the toss and being asked to bat first. Lead by Dilip Udayashankar’s 59 runs, Emerio maintained a steady run rate right through the innings, finishing at 218/8 in 35 overs. Nitin Gupta (35 runs) and Maneesh Dubey (31*) were the other contributors with the bat. TKCC was all at sea as they came out to bat when they lost their top 5 batsmen for next to nothing, tottering at 51/5 at the first drinks break. David Surjit was unplayable with the ball as his spell of 3 for 3 off 4.4 overs would suggest. With Garmit chipping in with 3/30, TKCC barely managed to get past the 100 mark, as they were all out for 101 runs. Only Rakesh Gowda ( 26 runs) and Mukesh Khetan ( 23 runs) managed to get into double digits with the bat.
