Bowlers dominated this weekend’s Texmoda JCA league games as Lindsay Wood, Nitin Joshi & Jaganathan Krishnan bagged 5 wicket hauls in their games.

After being put in to bat, TKCC Royals lost their top order quickly to the pace of Satheesh Kumar, but a splendid counter-attacking knock by Rajesh Santharaman in partnerships with Poonam Bumb & Nitin Asija pulled things back. They were looking good for a huge total, when Jaganathan Krishnan struck and in a splendid second spell took 5 wickets to bowl out TKCC for a strong, but lower than expected, 168 runs.

The Challengers CC chase began on a disastrous note as their top 3 batsmen and their main contributors last season, fell to the TKCC skipper, Mukesh Khetan with just 11 runs on the board. Maneesh Tripathi then accounted for the Vimal duo and Challengers were reeling at 56 for 6 wickets. Srinivasan Govindraj & Jaganathan Krishnan showed some fight, but didn’t get enough support from the other batsmen and Challengers were bowled out for 142 runs.
